Funeral services for Ashley will be private, and scheduled at a later date, per the family’s request. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated.
Ashley Jackson, age 28, of Chicago, found peace on October 13, 2021. Ashley was born in Kenosha, on May 16, 1993, the daughter of Emily (nee: Bogard) Hopkins and the late William Wissmar.
She was a free spirit and avid collector of unicorns throughout her life as well as a long-time fan of the University of Alabama “Roll Tide” football team.
Ashley loved her family, especially her children.
Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Bentley and Jase Jackson; her mother, Emily Hopkins; her siblings Catherine (JT) Fiers, William Wissmar III, and Brandon (Kirsten) Wissmar; and many dear nephews and friends.
Ashley was preceded in death by her father, William Wissmar Jr. and her grandmother, Barbara Wissmar.

Ashley was a sister that I wish was still here. I miss her everyday! Met her in high-school and was part of her life for awhile. Missed but never forgotten. Rest easy ash.
