The Family of Barbara Jo Cox is sad to announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Barbara passed on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Sherwood Lodge Assisted Living in Williams Bay Wisconsin. She had been battling COPD and Alzheimer Dementia for a number of years.
Barbara was born in Nebraska on February 23, 1941 to the late Vernon Norman and Fern (Sill) Norman. Her mother relocated to Racine with her two daughters, Mary and Barbara, and in 1948 and married Thurm Tingwald. The Tingwald’s had two more children Connie and Donald Tingwald.
Barbara was married to Ronald Louis Fojtik in 1958 in Racine Wisconsin. They had three children, Kelly Hughes, Lindee Fojtik, and Melissa Fojtik.
Barbara married Charles Crabtree from Illinois in 1966. They had two children, Randi (Crabtree) Kubek and Neal Crabtree.
Barbara retired from Janesville County and moved to Arkansas where she met her last husband, Scotty Cox.
She is survived by her two sisters and brother, Mary Bloom, Connie Staal, and Donald Tingwald. She is further survived by her daughters and son, Lindee Fojtik, Melissa Fojtik, Randi Kubek, and Neal (Nantana) Crabtree; her grandchildren, Heather Bender, Korna Crabtree, Quenten Crabtree, Casey Crabtree, Clayton Crabtree, Calvin Crabtree, Charles Crabtree, Avileen Crabtree, Jessica Hughes, Samantha Hughes, Tara Fojtik, Tamera Fojtik, Kayden Fojtik, and Liberty Fojtik; her great grandchildren, Dominic Lee, Tristin Torres, Trina Torres, Ethan Frank and Cashton Hughes; and her great-great grandchildren, Brady Lee and Levi Torres. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scotty Cox; her parents, Thurm and Fern Tingwald; her daughter, Kelly Hughes; her granddaughter, Amy Torres, and her grandson, David Lindville.
