Barbara Louise Bell (Bessie Jean), 86 years old, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born in College Park, Georgia, on March 31, 1938. She received her formal education at South Fulton High School, East Point, Georgia. She was married to the late Hubert Lee Bell and together they had ten children. They moved to Racine, Wisconsin, where she was employed as a Book Printer Lead for over thirty years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to music, hanging out with her close friends, spending time with her grandchildren, and occasionally cooking when the mood struck. Her hobbies were shopping…shopping…and more shopping and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Always impeccably dressed, Barbara took pride in looking her best wherever she went. Most of all, she loved celebrating life and sharing joy with those around her. Although she was not a part of any certified “Memberships” or “Organizations”, she created one of her own that touched many lives, “Look Good, Feel Good Organization”. Our beloved Barbara leaves a lifetime of precious and loving moments to cherish her memory with her children: Stanley (Pat) Bell, Texas, Sheri (Eddie) Billups, Racine, WI, Michael Bell, Racine, WI, Valerie (Antonio) Tucker, Oklahoma, Jonathan (Michelle) Bell, Racine, WI, Dexter Bell, Racine, WI, Stephanie (Tyrone) Coburn. I had the beautiful honor of taking care of Miss Bell when she resided at Wood House Adult Family Home. I think we became friends. She was a delight to know. One thing I can certainly attest to is that she truly loved her family. She talked about them all the time. She will be missed.

Our sincere condolences to Valerie (Val), Tony Tucker and Families. I was so blessed to have met Ms. Barbara when she visited Oklahoma! She was so very sharp and quick witted. And what a sense of humor. There was never a dull moment with Ms. Barbara. She will be sorely missed, but praise God, I believe she is at peace and at rest. May God continue to bless and keep you all in His care, now and always!
