Barbara Louise Bell (Bessie Jean), 86 years old, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born in College Park, Georgia, on March 31, 1938. She received her formal education at South Fulton High School, East Point, Georgia. She was married to the late Hubert Lee Bell and together they had ten children. They moved to Racine, Wisconsin, where she was employed as a Book Printer Lead for over thirty years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to music, hanging out with her close friends, spending time with her grandchildren, and occasionally cooking when the mood struck. Her hobbies were shopping…shopping…and more shopping and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Always impeccably dressed, Barbara took pride in looking her best wherever she went. Most of all, she loved celebrating life and sharing joy with those around her. Although she was not a part of any certified “memberships” or “organizations”, she created one of her own that touched many lives, “Look Good, Feel Good Organization”. Our beloved Barbara leaves a lifetime of precious and loving moments to cherish her memory with her children: Stanley (Pat) Bell, Texas, Sheri (Eddie) Billups, Racine, WI, Michael Bell, Racine, WI, Valerie (Antonio)Tucker, Oklahoma, Jonathan (Michelle) Bell, Racine, WI, Dexter Bell, Racine, WI, Stephanie (Tyrone) Coburn Georgia and Kenneth Bell, Racine, WI, and Becky Hamilton, Texas; nineteen grandchildren, Jackie (David) Wilson, Michigan, Bithia Bell, Racine, WI, Jessica (Jaz) Davis, Virginia, Tameka (Terrence) Fletcher, Texas, Demario Bell, Racine WI, Tomisha Gray, Racine, WI, Beatrice Smith, Illinois, Stanley Bell, Jr. Texas, Nakeya (Anthony Sr.) Jordan, Ohio, Valerie (Willie) King, Illinois, Jonathan Bell Jr. Valeshia Bell, Juwan Bell, Vanite Bell, all of Racine WI, Genesis Coburn, Georgia, Kenny Bell, Jr. Racine, WI, Malik and Caleb Hamilton, Texas; thirty-five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; special niece, Crystal Danielle Hicks-Wagner, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and loving friends.
