Elmwood Park, WI – Bobbie Louise Krug, 86, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Ascension All Saints Hospital.
Born on October 5, 1938, in London, KY, Bobbie was the cherished daughter of William Sizemore and Thelma (House) Sizemore Hicks. She grew up with a bright spirit and a thirst for learning, graduating from London High School and enrolling at Georgetown College at just 16. It was during these early years that Bobbie’s life changed forever when she met a dashing young man, John “Jack” Casper Krug, who was stationed at Fort Knox, serving our country in the United States Air Force. Their whirlwind romance led to their marriage on October 20, 1956, in London, KY, and they soon built a life together in Racine, WI, after Jack’s honorable discharge.
Bobbie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love and generosity knew no limits. While her family always came first, she loved her many jobs outside the home including saleswoman for Wisconsin Bell, Medical Assistant to Dr. Richard J. Fogle, and owner of Bresler’s 33 Flavors Ice Cream Shop. She also enjoyed working as a personal secretary to Mr. William K. Eastham (retired CEO of SC Johnson) and serving her community as the Clerk of the Village of Elmwood Park.
Known for her boundless energy, Bobbie loved traveling, dancing, sewing, cooking, entertaining, and tending to her beautiful yard and gardens. Her home was a hub of warmth and laughter, where she hosted countless gatherings for family and friends.
Bobbie’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her beloved children, Terri (Tom) Seitz and Robert (Terri) Krug; her treasured grandchildren, Laura Seitz, Joshua, Dylan (Sarah), & Delanie Krug, and Addie Adams; great-grandchild Audrey Isch; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tom & Judy Krug; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, her beloved husband Jack, who passed away in 2020, and Jack’s parents, Albert and Ruth Krug.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caring, compassionate doctors, nurses, and staff at Ascension All Saints Hospital and to the dear neighbors and friends, whose many acts of kindness brought her comfort and joy.

Judy Wemmert says
Bobbie was my mother’s (Joyce Luxenhofer) best friend and Terri and I have been best friends since before we were two years old. Our mothers and fathers were truly partners in crime. My childhood memories are filled with trips, picnics, birthdays, sleep-overs, “card club” , and much, much more with our families. The endless love and selfless care Terri gave to both of her parents in their last years is unmatched. She is the ultimate example of a faithful and dutiful child. She is so lucky to have Tom’s constant support and together they gave Bobbie and Jack the best possible final walk to heaven. Much love and admiration.
Elaine Beck says
I met Bobbi when I was working for The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread and she was secretary to Mr. Eastham. We worked on events together. When my assignment ended at Wingspread, Bobbi contacted me to ask if I would like to interview with Mr. Eastham since she was going off on another path. I was hired and credit Bobbi with that opportunity. I have always remembered Bobbi as a kind and gracious lady. My heart goes out to her family as they grieve through this sad time. I pray the wonderful memories you shared bring you comfort.
Sincerely,
Elaine Beck

We are so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. We know this is a challenging time, but we hope your memories will bring you peace. Your mom is no longer feeling pain and is in heaven in the arms of your dad. Together they will watch over you and protect you. If you look close enough you will be able to see them every day in signs they send you. They are forever in your heart. Know that you did everything you could to care for your mom, and help her to live her happiest life. She appreciated all you did to keep her happy and comfortable. You gave her the best gift possible, your help, caring, and support.
