RACINE – Bonnie Jean Huggins, 68, passed away at Azura Memory Care in Kenosha on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
She was born in Racine on July 28, 1951, the daughter of Oscar John and Germaine Ethel (nee: Barcome) Haigh. On September 10, 1994 she married Donald Huggins. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2019.
She retired from Insinkerator after 25 years of service.
Bonnie and Donald enjoyed spending time at their mobile home in Shawno and road trips on their Goldwing Motorcycle.
She is survived by her son, Shane (Laura) Bonine of Lexington, NC; her stepchildren, Connie Larmon of Milwaukee, Cindy (Bill) Richter of Mount Pleasant, Bryon of Racine, Lori (Greg) Williams of Caledonia; grandchildren; great grandchildren; her brother, Richard (Rosie) Haigh; her sisters, Judie Kovars, Sheila (Robin) Larrabee; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bonnie was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters; Keith Haigh, Oscar Edward Haigh , Roseann Stephan and Lavern Bunck.
Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, February 1, 2020 for a visitation from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. A service celebrating and remembering Bonnie’s life will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Matheson officiating. Her interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.
Bonnie’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at St. Monica’s Memory Care unit and Azura Memory care for the loving and professional attention she received while under their care.

I am so sorry to see this. I hope you see this Shane Bonine. I was very good friends with your mom and dad all through high school. I stood up for your mom in their wedding. I hung out with them for years. When you came along, you were the joy of their life. I knew your grandma and grandpa Arlene and Vern. Your dad and my first husband used to go hunting together. After Bonnie and Paul broke up we just didn’t see them much. Your mom was my best friend and I am so so sorry to hear of her passing, and Paul’s also.
