Racine – Brenda Denise Marzette, 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 24, 2017. She was born in Kenosha on April 28, 1952, the daughter of Henry and Vernia (nee: Glass) Harris. Brenda graduated from Park High School, and was a Racine resident for most of her life. She had worked at Western Publishing, and most recently retired from In-Sink-Erator.
On March 6, 1985, she was united in marriage to Mathew Marzette. Brenda loved and served her God Jehovah and was active in her ministry to the best of her ability as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Brenda was a very caring and generous person and loved spending time with family and friends. A few of Brenda’s favorite hobbies included decorating and shopping. She also loved music especially Jazz and Earth, Wind and Fire.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Mathew Marzette; her children, Michael T. Brown, Autumn S. Marzette, and Mathew A. (Karla) Marzette all of Racine; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is further survived by her mother, Vernia Harris; sister Diane Willis; nephew Anthony “Paul” Willis; mother-in-law Elizabeth Marzette; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mark Marzette, Thomas (Karen) Marzette, Kenneth Marzette, JoAnn Marzette, and Linda Marzette also all of Racine. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry G. Harris; father-in-law Thomas Lee Marzette; sister-in-law Maria Marzette; sister-in-law Lenette Marzette; and brother-in-law Timothy Willis.
A memorial service for Brenda will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1600 Summerset Drive, Racine, WI 53406, with Elder Sam Hargrove II officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 noon.

I had the privilege to know Brenda for a long time. She was loved by many who knew her well. Words will never explain how this has made me feel. To the family of Brenda, may Jehovah continue to bless an comfort you.
Revelation 21:3,4 was a promise Brenda belived in. We all have the future prospect of seeing her again one day soon.
