Racine – Bruce William Rowlands, 57, received the promise of eternal life on Monday, November 10, 2014. He was born in Madison on November 10, 1957, son of the late William and Helen (nee: Katibian) Rowlands.
Bruce graduated from J.I. Case High School in 1975. He worked as a technician at the City of Racine Water Treatment Plant. He was a member and past-president of Local 63. Bruce was an avid Packer fan. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing. Bruce was a trumpet player and was a member of the Racine Kilties Cadets from ’68 to ’71 and a member of the Racine Kilties from ’72 until ’73.
Bruce leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Jennifer (Brian Widmar) Rowlands of Pleasant Prairie; aunt, Margaret (Jack) Marshall of Neshkoro; uncle, Peter (Joan) Katibian of Racine; best-friend, Todd Cline of Grafton; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will take place on Friday, November 14, 2014, 6:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until the time of the service.
