
Kenosha – Carol Johnson, 70, passed away unexpectedly at Woodstock Health and Rehabilitation on Sunday, June 21, 2009. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 13, 1938. She had been a Kenosha area resident since 1994. Carol was a 1982 graduate of the Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, Michigan, where she received her degree (Magna cum laude) in nursing. She went on to work at Cypress Manor in Hancock, Michigan. Carol was a talented artist, and loved to work with watercolor and pencil. She was an avid reader, and also liked spending time working with word puzzles. She was very proud of her daughter and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laurie and Louis Moseler, and granddaughters Ashleigh and Samantha Moseler, all of Racine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilho and Ethel (nee: Sacrison) Linna. A memorial service for Carol will be held in the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Visitation with the family will be from 4:30 – 6:30. Memorials to the Woodstock Resident Recreation Fund have been suggested.
