Carol Shilhavy Dallmann, age 71, passed away on September 15, 2019 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL after losing a courageous fight with COPD.

In 2004 Carol met Greg Dallmann, of Arbor Vitae, WI, and in 2007 they were married. After they got married, they became snowbirds and split their time between Arbor Vitae, WI and Branford, FL.
A devout follower of Jesus Christ, Carol is walking with him now.
Carol is survived by her husband, Greg Dallmann, mother, Dorothy Scheckler, sister, Susan (Richard) Kraus who was her lifelong confidant and consultant, son David Shilhavy, step-daughter Heather (Ron) Scott, grandchildren Alyssa Shilhavy, Aaron Shilhavy, Nicholas Shilhavy, Charlie Shilhavy, Taylor Scott, nieces and nephews, and beloved friend Diane Tresider.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Shilhavy, father, Emory Scheckler Jr, sons, Robert and Thomas Shilhavy, and granddaughter, Desiree Shilhavy.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 26, 2019 at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home at 4600 County Line Road in Racine, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 with a service to follow. Interment will take place after the service at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Gisela Knueppel (nee Klein) says
Carol is a friend from childhood, we met at age 8, and we considered her a part of our family. Surviving childhood and our teen years were full of angst and giggles. We lost contact for a time, but she was always in my thoughts and prayers. We reconnected periodically through the years. I will always remember the time I spent with her and Greg in Florida a few years ago. Be with God and in his loving arms, my dear friend.
