Carolyn M. Alvarez RACINE – Carolyn M. Alvarez, 53, died at St. Luke’s Medical Center on Sunday, September 16, 2007. She was born in Pearsall, TX on February 4, 1954 to the late Charlie and Celia (nee: Thompson) Williams. Carolyn worked for Lincoln Lutheran Home for 19 years. She is survived by her children, Lisa Williams, Jesus Alvarez, Jr., Celia Alvarez; 11 grandchildren, Dexter Patterson, Jr., Marlisa Hodges, Lavon Harvey, Jr. James Barker III, Jesus Alvarez III, Avion Alvarez, Celicia Alvarez, Celina Alvarez, Chauncey Bueno, Elliott Campbell, Jr., Dakarie Alvarez; 2 sisters, Debra Lewis and Tina Williams; 2 nephews, Mike Brooks and Mitchell Mahan; 3 great nieces, Crystal Rendon, Debbie Rendon, Bianca Batchelor; 2 great nephews, Mike Monroe, Jr. and Gabriel Isaiah Brooks; son-in-law, Lavon Harvey, Sr., stepfather, Rodney Savala; devoted friends, Sonya Cobb, Candice Hall, Angela Lovelace as well many special friends and relatives. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kadina Patterson and special friend, Larry White. Family and friends are invited to meet at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at noon for the celebration of Carolyn’s life and memorial service with Pastor Taurus Pinson officiating. There will be time to meet with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
