Amy Stueckroth says
I have good memories of Char and Bill coming over to play cards with my parents while growing up. Then, when I was older, meeting my Mom and Char for lunch, when Char and Vonnie came shopping up at Brookfield Square. Char was such a sweet woman and I know my Mom especially loved her dearly. I am sorry for your loss and will keep your family in my prayers. There is no love like a Mother’s love and I know how much you will all miss Char. Love and prayers, Amy Stueckroth (Amy Kis, Vonnie and Norb’s daughter).
Marie Ruppert says
My Deepest sympathy to the Jensen family. Char was a lovely lady. May she rest in peace!
Holly Brown says
I’m so sorry to hear about Char! She was such a sweet lady. She and my Mom. (Vonnie,) volunteered in my classroom at Wadewitz Elementary. They were a great help, and my students loved having them in the classroom. My students called them “the Grandmas.” I would often see Char when she was with my Mom, and occasionally go out for meals with them. I loved hearing stories both of them would tell. My prayers are with you all at this difficult time.
Barb Uselman says
I am sorry to hear about your dear Mom. I have such good memories of your Mom and Dad playing cards with our parents and also the vacations our families took together up north in the summer. Your Mom was such a sweet, gentle, loving soul with a strong faith. Char was a good friend to our Mom, Vonnie, and for that I will always be grateful.
I know you all will miss her. No matter how old our parents are when they move to new life, it is so hard for those left behind. You will always carry your Mom’s love in your heart. Thinking of and praying for you during this sad time of transition. Barb (Kis)
