
~~Charles Williams Jr. was born on January 12, 1936 in Boonville, Indiana to the late Charles Jr. and Dorothy B. (nee: Smith) Williams. He enlisted in the United States Army in February 1952 to February 1955, he was stationed in Greenland; Camp Polk, LA, Ranked as; Specialist E-4.
On October 3, 1959 Charles married the love of his life, the former Clarice Juliette Pitt in Racine, Wisconsin. Their union was blessed with nine children, 5 boys and 4 girls. Charles retired from the Kenosha Chrysler Plant in 2001, after working for 41 years as a Certified Auto Mechanic.
Charles accepted Christ as his personal Savior on July 4, 2000 at United Church of God in Christ, in Sturtevant, Wisconsin; where he served as a lay member. He enjoyed fishing, automotive work, collecting coins, family outings and vacations. More than anything he loved spending time with his family.
He departed this life on Monday, March 28, 2016 in El Paso, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Williams Sr., mother, Dorothy B. Williams; his beautiful wife, Clarice J. Williams; sisters, Francis Williams Jones and Nadine Williams Carter; brothers, Joseph Williams, Lewis Williams and Richard Williams; sister-in-law, Mamie Williams; daughter, Juliette Norris and Jeanette Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories, sons, Carlos (Tawana) Williams of Kenosha, WI, Ricky Williams, Rodney Williams and Keith (Danyiel) Williams, all of Racine, WI, Jason (Stefanie) Williams of El Paso, TX; daughters, Terry (Heubert) Martin of Racine, WI, Belinda (Thomas) Martin of Oxford, MS and Charlese Alexander of Racine, WI; brother, Albert Williams of Rockport, IN; sisters, Christina Love of Racine, WI, Margrette (Ronnie) Mockerbee and Kathey (Samuel) Chaney all of Evansville, IN; 33 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Greater Grace Temple C.O.G.I.C., 522 N. Memorial Dr. at 11:00am. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park immediatley following the service.
