Gretchen Gayhart says
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Hall’s passing. I played city league softball for many years and can, without a doubt, say that Charlie was the best umpire Racine will ever see. He was fair, kind, dedicated, professional, and treated each and every game as if it were MLB. I’m sorry I never knew him personally, but if his personal life resembled his umpiring…he will be missed dearly. My deepest sympathies go out to his family in his passing.
