
Kenosha– Christopher M. Sinks, 62, passed away at home on Friday, October 1, 2010. He was born on November 29, 1947 in Hammond, Indiana, son of the late Arthur and Emily (nee: Bobin) Sinks. Chris was a proud Navy veteran who enjoyed his experiences and travels aboard the USS Independence. He was very organized, and took great pride in his work at Abbott Laboratories, and later at Hospira, Inc. He enjoyed watching movies and tinkering with the latest and greatest in electronic gadgetry. Most of all he was a loving father and grandfather. Chris also was a faithful attendee of Great Lakes Church. Chris is survived by his daughter, Tarra Sinks of Phoenix, Arizona; step-children, Jennifer (Hassan) Vargas-Tobon of Coronado, California, and Joe Goetzinger of Racine; four grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends, including his former spouse, Christine Lopez of Kenosha. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11am on Thursday, October 7, 2010 with Pastor Dave Nelson officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5pm – 7pm; and Thursday beginning at 10am.
