Miller's FlowersDavid J. LaFever, 60, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, October 5, 2024. He was born in Racine on July 16, 1964, the son of the late Dale and Audrey (nee: Anderson) LaFever Sr.
David was a graduate of William Horlick High School, Class of ‘82. He was an avid fisherman and fan of all Wisconsin sport teams, especially the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers. He could be found near a TV or radio listening to every Packers or Brewers game that was broadcasted, cheering and hollering like he was the head coach, and the players could hear him. David had been employed by EMCO Chemical Distribution Inc. for the past eleven years. Known for his sarcasm, he would bring his forklift wherever he went. David was always up to date on the weather forecast and never failed to have a dad joke lined up. He loved nothing more than relaxing and living a simple life with a cup of coffee in hand.
Surviving are the love of his life, Jennifer Le Viseur; children, Ashley LaFever, of Ashland, WI, Nathaniel Le Viseur, of Racine, Brittanie (Valenteeno) Le Viseur, of Kenosha, Amanda (Salino) Cartagena, of Racine; seven grandchildren, Gianna, Sophia, Jace, Ariana, ZaKiya, Jaxson, and Eliott; two brothers, Jim LaFever, Kevin (Laurie) LaFever; three sisters, Lori Martinsen, Margaret Marquez, and Carol (Roland) Morales, all of Racine; mother-in-law, Sandy Le Viseur. His many nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives, and friends, also survive him. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by three brothers, Chuck, Dale Jr., and Joel LaFever, two sisters, Debbie Darracott and Joan Evans, and his best friend, (father in law) Robert Le Viseur.
