So sorry I could not be there to celebrate the life of my good friend with his loved ones and great collection of friends. My thoughts are with those in attendance.
I will miss David even though I live far away, because when we did enjoy each others company it was like we were back in Sturtevant as kids laughing and enjoying the simple joys of life.

Oh my. What a touching, moving video of David. What a heartbreak to hear of his passing….so, so sad. My heart aches for the Nimmer family, and his children. Dave brought a smile to the faces of everyone who met and knew him. I knew him when I was a young girl in grade school, and those brown eyes and winning smile left all the girls a-flutter, including me. I was a good friend of Dave’s brother Al for many years, always enjoying interactions with the Nimmers…Grandpa Al, Doc, Rose, Alan, and all the brothers. I have many great and fond memories of those years. My sincerest and my deepest sympathy and thoughts go out to the family. God Bless David, and his family.
