~~DeAngelo Tyler Finley, 21, passed away on Thursday morning, December 5, 2013.
DeAngelo was born in Kenosha, WI on June 15, 1992, the son of Kurt and Paula (Nee: Vance) Finley.
He was educated in Kenosha schools and graduated from Bradford High School class of 2010. He was a student at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha.
DeAngelo accepted Christ at an early age. DeAngelo was a creative artist in music. He was the Boys and Girls Club 2009 Youth of the Year. He enjoyed singing, spending time writing music, performing, playing video games, watching professional sports on television (he particularly loved the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Brewers). He loved spending time with his family and friends.
His work history includes working for the Boys and Girls Club and Kenosha Unified School District.
DeAngelo is survived by his parents; Kurt and Paula, his siblings; ChiQuita, Cordero, Keshawnn, Kurt Jr, Mercedes, Brett, Brandon and Ryan, his nephews Tayden and Gavynn, his maternal grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandma Maurice Oglesby.
DeAngelo’s family wishes to express how extremely proud we are to have been touched, however briefly, by such a kind, decent and upright young man.
Home Going Services for DeAngelo will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013, at Draeger-Langendorf from 4pm – 6pm with funeral services to follow at 6 pm. A private interment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
