Miller's FlowersRacine – Deborah (nee: Graves) Stanford, age 65, beloved wife of Deacon Earnest Stanford, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, February 17, 2017.
Deborah was born in Waukegan, Illinois on January 29, 1952 to the late Marion and Norma Jean (nee: Haynes) Graves. She was a graduate of North Chicago High School and the University of Illinois – Champaign. Deborah was employed by the City of North Chicago for over 10 years.
In Racine on May 22, 2004, she was united in marriage with Deacon Earnest Stanford. They are proud and faithful members of Israel of God’s Church.
Surviving are her loving husband, Deacon Earnest; son, Derrick Phillips; brother, Deacon Michael (Beverly) Graves; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Israel of God’s Church, 2017 Mead Street, on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. George B. Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
