Racine- Mrs. Dorothy K. (nee: Desotell) Albro, 57, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
A lifelong resident, she was born in Racine on April 17, 1954 to the late Ralph and Rosalie (nee: Ruggaber) Desotell. On November 25, 1972, she was united in marriage to Lonnie C. Albro in Racine, Wisconsin.
“Dottie” was the owner of BAB’s Café and Dottie’s Family Restaurant, as well as a waitress in many restaurants throughout the Racine area. She will forever be remembered for her infectious smile, tireless work ethic and zest for life.
Mrs. Albro is survived by her husband, Lonnie Albro of Racine; children, Lonnie Albro (Jennifer Fredrick) of Racine; Brian Albro of Abbottsford, Wisconsin; and Angela Albro (Kevin Steinhoff) of Sparta, Wisconsin. Also surviving are her 7 grandchildren, Alyssa, Lonnie, Alexis, Cassidy, Charlene, Margaret, and Makenzi. She is further survived by her sisters and brothers, David (Mary) Desotell; Donna (Jim) DeMark; Diana (Charles) Bendix; Denise (Anthony) Rossi, all of Racine; and Daniel (Kim) Desotell of Dorchester, Wisconsin; sisters – in – law and brothers- in- law, Linda (Peter) Bushman; Lorrie (Frank) Kessler; Lynette Albro; Leslie Albro, all of Racine; Lee (Lucy) Albro of Las Vegas, Nevada; LuAnn (Bob) Thiel of Bonita Springs, Florida; and Lyle Albro of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and very dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 11 am in St. Edward Catholic Church, 1401 Grove Ave., with Rev. Allen Bratkowski officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 pm and in the church on Wednesday from 10-11 am.

don’t ask me why all of a sudden I got thinking about Dorothy and put her name in a goggle search and I found out she had passed. I’m so sorry Lonnie I really like Dorothy she was one neat lady!
