
~~Dwight L. Brown entered into his eternal rest on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. He was born on August 19, 1962, to Annie (nee: Brown) Todd and Claude Wright.
Dwight was a lifelong resident of Racine. He was educated in the Racine Unified School System and graduated from J.I. Case High School in 1980. He worked for S.C. Johnson Wax for several years and then opened his own janitorial business.
Dwight was a loving person to all who knew him. He was the life of the party, there was never a sad moment with him around, he always kept everyone smiling. Dwight’s longtime passion for music could always uplift those around him, and that would bring a smile to his face. Dwight’s heart’s desire was to keep the family together. He was a wonderful father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
Dwight is survived by his daughters; Yashika, Chloe, Starlit and Tori Brown, grandson; Jayden, brothers, Donnie, Victor and Claude Jr., Sisters; Gina, Velma, Alice, Salina, Delfina, Velma, Lillie and April, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends. He also leaves to cherish is memories, a special friend; Edward Wainwright and best friend; Maurice Thomas. Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; Annie Todd and Claude Wright and his grandmother; Flora McShan.
A celebration of his life will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of the service.

Dwight was like a breath of sunshine, he always had a smile on his face. He was a friend to me and the Lawson Family. His laughter and dimples will truly be missed. To his family, God knows best.
