I was a member with your father, Ed, in Toastmasters, and I always regarded him as one of my best friends for life. I really wish I could be there for his funeral: however, I was not feeling very well. I wanted to tell you and your family what a special person he was to me. I will miss both Ed, and his wife, Fran. Both of your parents were not only instrumental in helping me grow in Toastmasters, they were always available as friends for listening and offering advice to me.

We have fond memories of both Ed and Fran during the years of carpooling our sons to football practices. Plus the years of Wisconsin Women Entrepreneurs with Fran. Their large orange cat was the offspring of our kitty. We lived near each other in Mt Pleasant. Those were wonderful years and we were happy to have had the Weavers as our friends.

My condolences to the families. The last time I saw Edmund was 1957. He was my junior high basketball coach. I was a terrible player, but he always let me play a little bit in every game, if we were winning or loosing. He was a good leader and mentor to the team. I have read his orbital and your family can be very proud of his accomplishments.
