Racine – Edward “Big Ed” D. Williams, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 16, 2021. Edward was born in Racine on July 2, 1983 to Johnnie Price and Eddie Williams. He was a graduate of JI Case High School.
Nicknamed “Big Ed” because of his 6 foot 4 inch stature… his loving heart, infectious smile and contagious laughter never went unnoticed. Although quiet at times, if anybody ever needed anything, they could always count on “Big Ed” to be there. He devoted his entire life to caring for others, especially his family. Edward loved kids…so his role of “Uncle” came very easy. He enjoyed BBQ-ing, baking, music and singing. His presence will definitely be missed.
Surviving are his dad, Eddie Williams; brothers & sisters, Christopher (Tomika Jones) Price, Tasha Price, Fredrick (Rhonda) Price, Gregory West, Kevin Claybrooks Jr., Chenita (Jermaine) Scaife, Patrick Williams, Andre (Samita) Williams and Ieka Williams; special aunts & uncles, Peggy Price, Patricia Billips, Victor Price, Ted Williams, Alfred Williams, Myra Williams and Laura Johnson; special nieces & nephews, Latia Price, LaShayla Morris, Maurisha Brown, Keyon Martin, Craig Morris Jr. and Christopher Price Jr.; cousin, Demario Silas; special friends, Joyce Ward, Murl Monroe Jr., George Taylor Jr., Javail Trussell and Justin Johnson; many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends – too numerous to mention all by name. Edward was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Price; and infant son, Edward D. Williams, Jr.
