RACINE – Edward Foreman, 75, passed away at his residence on Monday, November 28, 2022.

He was born in Chicago on July 15, 1947, the son of the late John and Virginia (nee Baylis) Foreman. Edward served his nation with the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He lived most of his adult life in Illinois but moved to Racine in 2020 to be closer with family.

Edward loved to follow and to participate in the stock market daily.  It was his passion, especially after retirement.  However, he was happiest in the company of his dog, Batman, and his family.

He is survived by his sons and daughters, Jerrett (Linda Russo) Foreman, Jackie (Brian) Hennig, Edward Foreman, Jr., Robert Foreman, and Carrie Foreman.  He is further survived by his brother, John Foreman, and his sister-in-law, Kathy Foreman, along with many nieces and nephews. Edward was also preceded in death by his sister Pam and his brother, Allen.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, DECEMBER 18, 2022, for a visitation and time to meet with his family from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A service remembering and honoring Edward’s life will follow at 2:00 p.m.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Hospice Alliance, especially his nurse, Julie for the loving and professional care extended to Edward while under their care.

Ed (Fast Eddie) was a friend since the early 1970’s – he always called me “Woman”- and I loved it. He told “it”a”like he felt. He had strong opinions but rarely voiced them to me. My husband, Marty, and Ed talked almost every day. I will miss his gruff voice and his friendship!

Testimonials

The Family of Barbara Bell

Michael,

First, let me start out by saying you were a God sent working with me for many years in preparations for my mom’s Homegoing Celebration December 7, 2024. Even though this was our first time meeting in person, I felt like I already knew you. Michael, you demonstrated professionalism, empathy and, your warmth was surprising for me considering your role as a Funeral Director. Your attention to every detail, patient and support has made this process much easier for my family and me. I trusted you and you helped me find closure in a moment of great sadness, and for that we’re eternally grateful. I appreciate the time and energy you put into ensuring everything ran smoothly considering I reside in a different state. Michael, my mom would have loved you and our family is forever grateful for your unwavering dedication and support during our season of grief. May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. (Numbers 6:25)
