Service Details
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3126 – 95th Street, Sturtevant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy. 32. A visitation will take place on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
Eleanore Mischo, age 97, of Racine, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at her residence, surrounded by those she loved.
Eleanore was born in Racine on May 26, 1927, a daughter of the late Alex and Frances (Wyzgowski) Wozniak.
On May 11, 1946, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Wieczorek. Sadly, he preceded her in death on September 19, 1971. She later married Robert A. Mischo who preceded her in death on August 21,1995.
For many years, Eleanore worked as a clerk at J.C. Penney.
A member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, she previously had been a member of both St. Edward’s and St. Lucy Catholic Churches. She loved singing in many choirs both in her churches and outside of church. Eleanore LOVED her Wisconsin sports teams, especially the Brewers, Packers, and the Bucks.
She is survived by her three children, Geraldine “Geri” (Gerald) Tobalsky, Joyce Wieczorek, and Marie (Izet) Rika; her grandchildren, Kyle Lawrenz, Alexis (Cory) Kovacik, Jennifer Skirmuntas, Scott (Katherine) Tobalsky, Julie Tobalsky, Thomas (Heidi) Tobalsky, Adivie Rika, and Joseph (Tracy) Tobalsky; six great-grandchildren. four great-great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law Charlotte Wieczorek.
Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen Urbaniak; a great-grandson, Matthew Coss, and her siblings, Raymond and Edward Wozniak.

So very sorry for your loss. I remember Eleanore fondly as she use to sing with my parents (Les & Marie Rosenbaum) in the St. Sebastian Choir for many years. I always thought she was a wonderful person & cared for her very much. Seems as though now the choir is all together again. Prayers to your family.
