Racine- Felipe S. Morales, 71, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early afternoon of Thursday, September 7, 2006 following a courageous battle with cancer. Felipe was born in Cotulla, TX on September 13, 1934 to the late Rosalio and Luisa (nee: Sanchez) Morales, Sr. He moved to Racine in 1949 in search of employment which he found at American Motors / Chrysler, retiring after 36 years. A devoted man of faith, Felipe was an active member of Cristo Rey Parish where he served as an usher and tireless volunteer. He was an accomplished musician especially on his guitar and accordion. Quite often, Felipe would be found working on projects around his home and garage. A true family man, he loved and cherished being in the surroundings of his entire family.
