So sad to learn of this news. Jim was a great guy and a respected football and baseball official. To say he’ll be missed is an understatement.

Tom Christensen, Racine Raiders Football Club says
I am very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. He worked many of the football games for the Racine Raiders over the years as a member of Joe Petrnets’ crew. The last recent e-mail I got from Jim was informing me of Joe’s passing. The consolation that can be thought is that he will again be teaming up with Joe to work that “big game”.
On behalf of the Racine Raiders, I want to extend our condolences and sympathies to Jan and the rest of Jim’s family.

I was 4 years behind Jim at St. Stanislaus elementary school. Jim and his brother Mike were role models to us younger kids. I would go to watch their baseball games at Roosevelt Park. As a youngster I was certain Jim was going to be in the major leagues. My condolences to the family and to OB. Rest in peace Jim.
