Wonderful teacher. In 1975 she was my 4th grade teacher. 40 years later she stopped at one of my art fairs to see me. I will always remember her kindness.

To the family of Miss Anderson, Jeanne as she recently corrected me.
She was one of my favorite teachers at Dr. Jones school more than 50 yrs ago. I think I may have been one of her first classes.
I’d see her off and on at the grocery store and we both remembered each other by name all those years later and each of us commenting to each other you have not changed much at all just look a tad bit older. Most recently (last year) at the chart room we saw each other and I introduced her to my husband as “my old teacher” She corrected me by say “former teacher” and we all had a laugh over that comment.
We chatted a good 15 minutes catching up and reminiscing . Miss Anderson you left a mark on mark on me for your teaching ability, memory and your kindness .
Rest in Peace and soar with the angels!

Condolences to Jeanne’s family. I taught with her at Goodland in the late 1990s early 2000. She was a great 5th grade teacher and taught me something every time we worked together with her students. Had the privilege to visit with her later after retirement at RAREA events.

I had the privilege of serving on the board of the Racine Area Retired Educators Association (RAREA) for many years with Jeanne. She brought sunshine to the board and RAREA, and we miss her.
