Jeremy Joseph Woltman, 37, known to his family as “J.J.”, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 3, 2022. He was born in Hinsdale, IL, on May 11, 1984, son of James and Kathryn (née: Heuer) Woltman.
Jeremy is the redefinition of “Larger than Life”! He had a voice and laugh to match his large personality. He was the center of attention when he walked into a room. He was fiercely loyal to his crew and thrived when he was surrounded by his family which included not only his biological family, but the love of his life, Jessica, and her family, as well as his numerous extended family across the country. His mother was the center of his world, and he made sure she knew he loved her. He believed in enjoying life “Jeremy Style” to the fullest with no regrets. He was comfortable anywhere and loved to make others comfortable as he made a good time wherever he wandered. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, golfing, or anywhere that took him on an excursion. He acquired many trophy mounts across the years and unfortunately has a few that have eluded him including Mr. Wood Duck.
Jeremy has thousands of “brothers” and extended family throughout the country. His love of motorcycles, brotherhood, long rides, and finding the moments that take your breath away were the focus of his life. His motorcycle family across the country mourns the loss of a tremendous brother.
Jeremy leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Kathryn “Miss Kate” Woltman; brothers, Anthony Commiso (niece, Isabella), Jimmy Woltman and his family; sister, Kitty Houston and her family; his hundreds of “brothers and sisters” across the country; loving companion, Jessica Schmidt; her children, Anthony “Tony” Bednar, Gavin Bednar, Caleb Bednar; Jessica’s mother, Luanne Krueger; Jessica’s father, Nick “Moose” (Beth) Schmidt; aunt and uncles, Debbie (Vince) Scarpelli, Gerry (Gail) Woltman, Patrick Heuer, Jeffrey (Cheryl) Heuer, Edward Heuer; all of his close and loving cousins; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, James Woltman; aunt, Judith Fico; uncle, Stephen Heuer; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Fran Woltman; and maternal grandparents, Edward and Betty Heuer.
A celebration of Jeremy’s life will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, 3:00pm, at Joyful Harvest Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5050 N Johnsburg Road, Johnsburg, IL 60051. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until the time of the service. See service information above for the link to the live stream of the service.

I have been crying for days and yet my heart continues to break. Born cousins but we grew up like siblings. My heart goes out to Aunt Kathy and Anthony and all of the friends and family left behind. He leaves an unfillable void and he will be so heartbreakingly missed. Love you Jeremy.
