Racine – Jerome Francis "Jerry" Sievers, 73, passed away at WFH – All Saints hospital on Sunday, June 10, 2012. He was born in Racine on June 2, 1939, son the late August and Mabel (nee: Seitz) Sievers. Shortly after graduating from Union Grove High School Jerry joined the US Army and served honorably from 1958-1962. Jerry worked for Twin Disc for 30 years as a machinist, retiring in 1997.

Jerry is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Dianne Sievers of Montello; his special aunt, Betty Hoefs of Sturtevant; and two very special nieces and their families, Kris (Larry) Hejny and Carey (Kevin) Lorton both in California. Jerry also has many cousins and other relatives and friends who will miss him.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Caledonia. Visitation in the funeral home will begin at 10:00 a.m.
