He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Lee McGee, James (Regina) McGee, Patricia McGee; his very special friend, Joyce Daniels, and her daughter Tracy; 9 grandchildren; his sisters, Ida Mae Holliman, and Lula Clinton; special cousins and many friends. He was also preceded by his brothers and sisters, Willie B. McGee, Forrest McGee, Lewis McGee, Robert McGee, Nancy Salters, Katie Newton, and Rose McGee. Homegoing services will be held at Searching Together Missionary Baptist Church, 825 21st Street, on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tony Visor officiating. Our family would like to thank the many staff members and doctors at All Saints Health Care for the kind and compassionate manner in which they cared for our loved one. We especially acknowledge the angels in the ICU – Jo Ellen, Jennifer, Julie, and Sue.

To the McGee Family:
I am so sorry about your loss your family will forever be in my prayers.
When Friends Go To Heaven
They do not go alone
cause when friends go to heaven
part of us goes along.
When friends go to heaven,
our memories here remain
when friends go to heaven,
its our plan to meet again.
When friends go to heaven,
silently our hearts and souls do cry
for when friends go to heaven
there isn’t an answer to why.
They never really leave us
they are in are hearts to stay
when our friends go to heaven,
they never really go away.
