I knew John for over 30 years while working at UWM. I was a custodian at the university and also one of the union reps. for the area. John would often approach me asking questions about the union contract or events that the local would put on. He was such a pleasant person to talk with and a very faithful and long time member of AFSCME Local 82. He will be dearly missed!
