My condolences as I worked with him at the City and we often discussed ways to make workspace improvements, which again shows his desire for detail and assisting his co-workers! He will be dearly missed.

Daniel Kieran says
I’m still not ready to lose you, brother, but neither of us had a choice. I don’t know how to live this life without you, John. I guess I will have to figure it out. I have, do, and will always love you. You are definitely part of my world, near or far, here or there. I expect you will say HI to Rach, give her and Jerry a big hug from me, and I will see you on the flipside!
April Hartley says
I am so sorry Anita.
John had a big heart. Being married and being a dad gave him great meaning and worth. He loved to tell a good story and had a laugh to go along with it that was contagious. I always remember his attention to detail…there was never a need to rush…just a need to do a project or endeavor right. He loved God unapologetically.
I Corinthians 15:52
I think he would want you to know that you are loved, you are beautiful, you are strong.
My deepest sympathies, April
John & Leslie Kieran says
Anita, I am so sorry you lost the love of your life. John had so many special gifts. As a young boy he would always sit down and talk to the older folks and they loved it, he brought a smile to a lot of people. John lived a good life which was made even more special with you and John Michael in it. He will forever remain in our hearts and thoughts and dearly missed. I like to think God has a special place with a garden for John to tend and family there with him.
God Bless you and give you peace & comfort during this difficult time.

Sherry J. Treiber says
Anita, So very sorry for this huge loss to you and to our family. John was blessed to have you as his wife. Your love and devotion to him was phenomenal. I will always treasure his memory and that we got to have him in our lives.
He was a wonderful husband to you and tremendous (and patient) father to John Michael. He set a great example for parenting special needs children.
He was always there for me, whenever I needed him, especially after Jerry passed away. Thank you for that. I am so glad he was my brother!
