To The Flynn Family and All who Loved Him,
Our deepest sympothy goes out to you. Jack was a great man I would watch Ryan’s eyes as he told his stories of the Marines he never lost interest in what he had to say. Brendan was in complete awh that Jack was such an athelete. When I told Michala that Jack had passed she was sad, but kids are funny she said the Uncle that falls asleep in the same chair each Christmas with his mouth wide open. He will be sorely miss by all of us. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all and hope that you know that Jack is in a safe and happy place in Heaven smiling down on all of us.

We are so sorry for your loss- and wish we were all with you at this time.
We told the girls about Uncle Jack and explained that he was in heaven. Regan asked if he was “older than Papa” and we said yes. She then said “wow, he must have had a fun life.”
We hope that you will share stories with them so that they will know more about Uncle Jack. They send big hugs to their Papa, and we are thinking of you all and praying for you.

Death’s door is but a gateway to new life,
The passing of consciousness to a higher level,
Dreams of things unknown coming into reality,
Walking with love ones who have gone on before,
The absence of pain and hate,
Though our existence is lesser with their passing,
The richness that was imparted through their touch cannot be measured.
My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to your family at this time.

I will always remember the many stories Uncle Jack loved to tell. He was not shy in voicing his opinion and offering much advise. He loved a discussion/confrontation/conversation. He was very supportive of me as I pursued my education and spoke of the many good times in college and how important it was to go to school. He also shared things he would have done differently or better, mistakes not to make or how to learn and grow through them
He loved his family and made sure he came to Boston every year to celebrate Christmas. It was always great to sit an talk, debate or reminisce about when Grandma or Grandpa were with us, the holidays, the food, school, Ireland, BC, life in the service remember going to visit when I was young all by myself, it was so exciting and he made the trip feel so special.
He will be missed by all his family and friends as he touched the lives of many.
I am sorry that I was not able to join you in person but my heart is with you during this sad time. We have been keeping him in our prayers during this last year throughout his surgeries. We send you all our love and prayers.
Love,
Cheryl, Richard, Alec and Marina Callahan

They say that the flutter of a butterfly’s wings in Africa can set in motion a weather pattern on the other side of the earth. Jack Flynn reminds me of that butterfly. His very presence in a room could alter the energy flow, and for me, it always brought a smile. I’ll miss his holiday trip to Boston and the happy hugs he greeted me with. My heart goes to each and all who loved him and who will grieve the loss of such a memorable man.
Goodbye, Jack, and God speed. And I’m sure you have gone to your rest knowing I’ll be nearby for Robin.
