Prayers for the family from myself and all his veteran friends from the Thursday cafe. Family obligations keep me from the service but know that he is in my thoughts. He always had a “kiss” for me

As a young child, John lost his father in the line of duty in service to the City of Racine. Well into his 90s, John remained a regular and faithful attendee of the annual Racine County Law Enforcement Memorial Service.
It was an honor to get to know John over the years. Prayers go out to all surviving family members and friends.

John was like the neighborhood grandpa. I grew up living 2 doors down from John, Carol, Scott, Chris and Sandi. Back then, they had Buffy, their Collie. We had one too, Duchess. Remember John always going fishing. Giving my dad some for dinner. John was always building something too. So talented. You were the first to the neighborhood John, and the last to leave. Thank you for all the years of friendship to our family. See you on the other side John.
