He was a sports fan always rooting for his favorite home state teams, especially the Packers and the Brewers. He enjoyed trips to Elkhart Lake, traveling to see the fall colors with Jane, the Kentucky Derby, Brewers spring training in Arizona, Burning Man in Nevada, or anywhere with a party and a good time. So sad to hear of John’s passing. We hung out a lot back in the day (late ’60’s/early ’70’s). Only ran into each other a couple of times a few years ago; had fun reminiscing about the old days. Wish I could make the funeral but I live in North Carolina now. My condolences to his family.

Just heard about John’s passing. When I came home from college sick with a long recovery at home back in the day, John was one of my brother Marty’s crew who took me in and let me run around with them. Loved all those guys and had such fun. RIP. Condolences to family and friends.
