
John T. Michna, 73, passed away in Green Bay on Friday, November 6, 2009. He was born in Racine on January 20, 1936 the son of the late Clarence and Mildred (nee: Thompson) Michna. John served his country with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. He had been employed by Prange’s Business Interiors of over 25 years. John enjoyed spending time operating radio controlled planes and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are his son, John K. Michna, of Green Bay; sisters, Marilyn Michna, Mary Clare Michna, both of Racine, Doris Hoffman of Sturtevant; and brother, James (Peg) Michna of Albert Lee, MN. John is further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Joan Michna. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park, 9000 Washington Ave., on Wednesday, November 11th, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Kay Glennon officiating. Relatives and friends can meet with the family in the chapel of West Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society.

I ran Prange’s Business Interiors and brought John to Green Bay, as you say -some 25 years ago. Am saddend to read of his passing and am sorry we had not kept more in touch over the years………
