
Mr. Joseph L. Kriston, 72, died unexpectedly at WFH – All Saints on Thursday, February 7, 2008. He was born in Mezokovesd, Hungary on February 5, 1936 to the late Paul and Barbara (nee: Arvai) Kriston. He moved to the United States in l957. On July 11, 1959, Joe married the former Ilona Dalacsi in St. Lucy Catholic Church, where they have remained longtime members. Joe worked for Bosch Rexroth in Sturtevant for over 36 years. In addition to his loving wife, Ilona, Joe is survived by his son, Joe (Lilac) Kriston, Jr. of Waterloo, WI; granddaughters, Jennifer (Dan) Gilligan of Frisco, TX and Kimberly (Christopher) Tucker of Rockwall, TX; great granddaughter, Evelyn Gilligan; brother and sister, Paul (Elizabeth) Kriston and Elizabeth Molnar both of Hungary; sister-in-law, Piroska Paal of Racine; two other sisters-in-law in Hungary; uncles, Joseph (Madeline) Arvai of Racine, Stephan (Phyllis) Arvai of Kenosha; aunt, Theresa (Rudy) Cariello of Racine and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Lucy Catholic Church (3101 Drexel Ave.) on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. for the celebration of his funeral Mass with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. There will be a visitation on Monday evening in the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. and in the church on Tuesday from 11-11:30 a.m.
