Dear Marion,
I met Joe once at an extended family picnic located near Waterford Wisconsin. Although we are not related, we are related to some family’s we have both enjoyed in the past. I talked to Tina W. and she had indicated that Joe was in failing health. My deepest sympathy to you and all that knew him.
Brad Colson says
I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Joe at Jacobsen in 1978-80. Joe was a product manager and I was a marketing research analyst. Joe was a great mentor to me. I had no idea he lived such a full life. RIP Joe.
Allen Sowinski says
I’ve know Joe for over 60 years through the ups and downs of his life. Joe was a survivor and a great person. I knew his father and brother & he was a combination of the best of both. Joe always had a kind word to say when our paths crossed and he always took time to chat and talk about high points in his life since we last spoke. There should be more people in the world like Joe, he’ll be missed by many people.
S. John May says

Joe was a great guy (besides being a super athlete) whom I very much admired.
