Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8th. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service starting at 3:00 p.m. Private burial services will be held in Mound Cemetery.

Joyce E. Sadlon, 92, of Racine passed away at the Home Harbor Assisted Living on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was born in Albee, South Dakota on April 20, 1932, the daughter of the late Alfred and Inez (nee: Schultz) Wohlleber.
Joyce was a graduate of William Horlick High School, Class of 1950. She had been employed by the Town of Somers, first as the Deputy Clerk and later Town Clerk. Later she was employed at Bane-Nelson Inc., retiring in 1995. She was a longtime member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Joyce enjoyed golfing and belonged to the Ives Grove Women’s Golf Club and the Johnson Park Women’s Golf Club.
Surviving are her three children, Jay (Dawn) Sadlon, of Oshkosh, Lynn (Rick) Burnett, of Kenosha, and Jill (Rod) McAllister, of Livingston, Montana; seven grandchildren, David (Katherine) Burnett, Ryan (Suzy) Burnett, Kevin (Dewey) McAllister, Paul (Grace) McAllister, Jack (Gio) McAllister, Terry McAllister, and Emily (Joe) Sirtoff; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Mark (Linda) Baker, of Racine. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many cousins. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her infant son, David George Sadlon; two grandsons, Daniel Sadlon and Joshua Sadlon; two sisters, Bonnie Martinson, Carol Wohlleber and her former husband Gerald R Sadlon.
