In honor of Judy’s life and legacy, funeral services and ceremonies will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, 11:00am, at Living Faith Lutheran Church, 2915 Wright Avenue, providing an opportunity for all who knew her to come together, celebrate her memory, and find solace in each other’s company. Her brother-in-law, Rev. Dr. Warren Williams will officiate, with lunch to follow. A visitation will take place at 10:00am prior to the service.

Miller's FlowersJudith Ann Cranley, a beloved member of the Racine community, passed away on June 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 12, 1939, in Racine, WI, Judy was a compassionate soul who touched the lives of all those she encountered. She graduated from Washington Park High School in 1957 and was united in marriage with Joseph Edward Cranley on August 22, 1959.
Judy worked as a Title Officer for years at the family owned Knight-Barry Abstract Company and spent many happy summers with family at her grandparent’s cottage in Pan Yack Park on Eagle Lake. Her love for reading, music, and social consciousness shaped her unique character. She found solace in the words of books, the melodies of her piano keys, and the stories shared on National Public Radio. Her passion for current events in Racine drove her to volunteer at Living Faith Lutheran Church (formerly Atonement Lutheran Church), where she selflessly dedicated her time to both Sunday School and Confirmation classes, where she displayed unmatched patience and care when working with children facing difficulties.
Throughout her life, Judy demonstrated her kindhearted nature by always being the first to offer help to family members in need, especially during times of illness or when they required care. Her home was a safe haven for those seeking comfort and support, a testament to her unwavering commitment to her loved ones.
Judy is survived by her adoring son, Sean (Jackie) Cranley, her cherished grandchildren, Breeyn (James Hilderbrand) Cranley, Caelyn (Jenna Luegge) Cranley, and Logan Cranley, her precious great-grandchildren, Liam and Raina Hildebrand. She is also survived by her brother, James (Kathy) Foldy, sister, Joannie (Rev. Dr. Warren) Williams, sister-in-law, Margaret Robinson, and brother-in-law, Jim (Nancy Drew) Cranley.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Gladys Foldy, husband, Joseph Cranley, and infant daughter, Rana Marie Cranley.
