
Julian Cornelius Lott, 50, left this earthy life to be with our heavenly Father on, April 19, 2016. Born in Hughes, Arkansas on June 14, 1965, he was the fifth son of the late Scott Eugene Lott, Sr. and Elizabeth Lott- Hill. He accepted Christ and was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church and later moved his membership to Greater Faith Church in Waukegan, IL. Julian attended school in Zion, IL and was a graduate of Zion Benton High School in 1984. He attended Lakeland and Taft College where he graduated. He later joined the United States Army Reserves.
In March 1990, he married Ilene Therese (Cepeda) and to that union two beautiful daughters were born, Kiyanna and Ferryn. After the sudden death of Ilene, he married Rachelle Conway on July 21, 2007.
Julian loved sports and was a die-hard Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Every weekend come rain, snow, sleet or sunshine he could find him on the grill talking trash. He loved collecting his Michael Jordan memorabilia. In his spare time he loved detailing cars and spending time with all the kids in the neighborhood.
Julian will be truly missed for his laughter and wit while among family and friends.
Julian leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Rachelle; one son Julian of Ames, Iowa; two daughters, Kiyanna and Ferryn and two stepchildren, Courtney and Jacob of Kenosha, WI; one grandson, Aiden Lott of Ames, Iowa; stepfather, John Hill of Kenosha, WI; four sisters, Marilyn (Byron) McIntosh of Houston TX , Narkeater (Gary) Smith of Nashville TN, Frozene (Robert) Hayes of Kenosha, WI and Antoinette Slater of Waukegan, IL; four brothers, Scott (Joyce) Lott of Waukegan, IL, Karl Lott of Milwaukee WI, Clarence (Lisa)Lott of Nashville, TN and Alphonso (Alalia)Lott of Atlanta, GA; two Step-brothers, Scott and Phil Hill of Racine, WI; In-laws, Beth (Michael) Lowery of Bellefonte, PA, Steve Conway of Lewistown, PA; sisters in-laws, Belinda (Ed) Holland of Zion, IL, Carrie (Bradley) Herman of Lock Haven, PA; brother-in-law, Tyler (Crystal) Conway of Lock Haven, PA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded by his first wife, a daughter, Julianna, parents, grandparents a brother, a sister and two nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, 11:00am at Greater Faith Baptist Church, 565 Powell Ave, Waukegan, IL. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00am until the time of service.
