Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, July 27, 2024, for a visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.
A service celebrating his life and Homegoing will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Stanley Washington officiating.
Kenneth C. House, affectionately known as Kenny Bug, Big Ken, and K-Billa, was born April 9th, 1977, to Charles Gates and the late Bertha Mae House.
Kenny was the life of the party with his beautiful smile, and infectious laugh. He loved spending time with his kids, family, and friends, and he always expressed how much he loved us. Kenny was a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed making music, cracking jokes and making people laugh. It was a joy to be in his presence.
Kenny and Regina, his life-long partner, were together for 20 years. If you ever seen Kenny, Regina wasn’t too far behind because they were attached at the hip.
On the morning of July 15th, 2024, the Lord opened the gates of heaven and welcomed Kenny home. Kenny was preceded in death by his mother Bertha Mae House; Grandparents Alvin and Bertha L. House; Aunts, Rosemary Jackson and Sandrews Atkinson; Uncle Alvin House Jr., and cousin, Yolanda Banks.
Kenny is survived by his father, Charles (Frances) Gates, his life-long partner Regina Williams, his children, Adasia (Axel) House, Renita and Nahdarian Wilson, and Darell Williams. Siblings, Marcus (Norma) Weams, Marlo (Tony) Jett, Kevin (Marian) House, Charlene, Katherine, and Jessica Gates, along with Brothers and Sister’s in law; Uncles Benjamin (Lillian) House, Ricky (Brenda) House, and Robert Atkinson; Aunts Margaret (James) Jones, and Kathy R. House. Eight grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
