Our beloved father, Kenneth J. Karsnick, 93, passed away peacefully with family at his bedside.
He was born on November 9, 1929 in Sheboygan, WI to Frank and Verona Karsnick. After graduating from Wm. Horlick High School he served in the U.S. Air Force. He spent most of his working career at Motor Specialty in Racine becoming VP of Engineering. Although mid-career, he established his own manufacturing company, it was eventually acquired by Motor Specialty bringing Ken back to the company.
Ken easily made friends wherever he went because of his contagious smile and his corny and witty jokes. He enjoyed tennis, playing golf with his friend Don Kamm, couples bridge, dancing with Marie, woodworking, and building homes in his spare time.
Ken is preceded in death by his wife Marie P. Karsnick and his sister Germaine Boehme.
He is adored by his three children, Kris (Dr. Richard) Rozran, Jan (Matthew) Sullivan and Gregg (Yuko) Karsnick. His grandchildren, Brad Rozran, Lindsey (Kemp) Collings, Ryan (Amy) Sullivan, Shannon Gamble and Colin (Lucia) Sullivan loved their Bumpa. He was blessed with 5 great grandchildren, Reid Collings, Grant and Cate Sullivan, Shanyi’a Gamble and Xavier Brown.
He will also be missed by dear family friend, Carol Hegmann, the Kamm family and two step daughters Terry (Tim) Meyer and Leslie (Kirk) Gain, along with numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Newcastle Place Memory Care Unit in Mequon, WI and special friend, Trish Moesel.

Jayne Exner says
Dear Kris,
It has been many years, old friend.
So very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. Sue Andersen-Casebolt let me know that your father recently passed, so I thought I would reach out and send hugs your way. You were one of the prettiest Bridesmaids! That is almost 50 years ago Kris. I was happy to see the family was by your dad’s bedside, not everyone has the luxury of having loving family there to walk you to the other side. Blessings and grace on him and your families during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Jayne Heller-Exner
Brian Duchac says
Ken was a great mentor and friend during our time at Motor Specialty. His common sense is something I always appreciated. I will miss him! My sympathy to the family. Sincerely, Brian Duchac.

You have our condolences on the passing of your Dad. We had a great neighborhood as kids and your family was one of the reasons for such a close neighborhood. Let your precious memories bring you comfort.
