Kim C. Sheppard, 62, passed away in Columbia/St. Mary’s Hospital, in Milwaukee on Saturday, December 21, 2019. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, December 30th at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. A private burial service will take place, at a later time.

Kim C. Sheppard, 62, passed away at Columbia-St. Mary’s Hospital, Milwaukee, on Saturday, December 21, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Racine on October 6, 1957, the daughter of the late William and Mary Ann (nee: Trolle) Woelfel.
Kim served the Racine Community as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, 24 years at All-Saints, and lately at the Ridgewood Care Center. Kim continued to give, by being an Organ Donor. She loved gardening, camping, and Indy Racing. Her most treasured memories came from the times spent with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
Surviving are her three children, Jared Dvorak, of Racine, Mehgan Garcia, of Salem Lakes, WI, and Steven (Holland) Dvorak, of South Milwaukee; 7 grandchildren, Kesley, Aleah, Evan, Jackson, Benjamin, Penelope, and Loralie; 2 great grandchildren, Cayden and Ember; 2 brothers, Billy (Pauline) Woelfel, of Auckland, New Zealand, and John Woelfel, sister, Nancy (David) Willis, all of Racine, her two best friends, Debra Andersen, and Liz Valdez, and her beloved dog, Lily Mae. Her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her.

I’m so sad about Kim. I worked with her at All Saints and have seen first hand she had a servants heart for her patients. She was a great team player and I always felt I could rely on her for what ever came our way no matter how challenging the situation was. Her loving touch and beautiful smile will be missed by a lot of patients now and in the future.
