What a sad day. She will be missed. Her smile would light up the room when I came down to pray with her and make sure she could get to the chapel while we were at the nursing home. She was one of the sweetest and nicest person I knew. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I will always remember you as I called you and your roommate “granny’s on the porch”. Praying for strength and peace for your family during this difficult time. Peter M Page says
I have a CD I made from YouTube recordings and old records. She never became a star but I found her songs infectious and consider them among the greatest Blues recordings. I only have twelve songs on that CD but it is among my favourite CDs. Her songs are a gem in a mountain of recordings. I sometimes look for more songs by her, or more images. How I got to this site. I imagine I am not alone. Her Blues recordings are rare masterpieces.
Thank you,
Peter Page
