Racine – Linda Suzanne (nee: Brehm) Dament, age 59, passed away, surrounded with the love of her family, at All Saints – Ascension Hospital on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, following a courageous one-year battle with cancer.
A lifetime resident, Linda was born in Racine on August 22, 1959 to Donald and Marian (nee: Hansen) Brehm. She graduated from William Horlick High School in 1977. On July 17, 1993 in Holy Name Catholic Church, she was united in marriage with the love of her life, Joseph E. Dament. To this union, their two adored children were born, Tyler and Karysa. They were her world.
Linda has been employed with Premier Power Professionals, Inc. for the past 10 years – a job she truly enjoyed. She had a great appreciation for nature, especially tending to her flower gardens and spoiling her canine companions. Above all, Linda was all about spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her loving husband of 25 years, Joe; their children, Tyler (age 19) and Karysa (age 17); mom, Marian Brehm; sister, Denise Peterson; brothers, Tom and Brian Brehm; mother-in-law, Carol (nee: Beguhl) Dament; brother-in-law, Robert (Judy) Dament; sisters-in-law, Debra (Greg) Ellingson, Christina (Gary) Haas and Patricia (Glenn) Snider; her yellow lab, Kia; nieces, nephews, other relatives and extensive circle of close friends – too numerous to mention by name.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Donald Brehm; father-in-law, George P. Dament; brother-in-law, Jim Peterson; and chocolate lab, Kelli.

I was shocked and so sad to hear about Linda’s battle with cancer and her final breath. The photo of her is how I remember her – always a big smile on her face. We were neighbors on Jupiter Avenue and then ran into her periodically around Racine. My heart is sad for all of her family. My thoughts and my prayers are with all of you.

Linda was a great friend to my cousin Patti. I met Linda through her, I would run into her quite often, and she would always have a smile on her face and a quick hug. She will be missed. Sending prayers your way!

Joe and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I was just thinking about her the other night and something told me to check the paper today( I never look at the paper). She was truly one of the best and Heaven has received another angel.

Aunt Linda will be missed.
She was such a kind soul.
We did so much together, back in the day. I even locked her out of her car, being a little snot. I was still not able to make her mad.
She was always there for my mom, brother, and myself.
Her spirit will carry on with her wonderful kids.
