Racine – Lloyd Herrington Sr. was born on July 13,1952 to the union of James and Lizzie (nee: Jackson) Herrington in Fayette, Mississippi.
Lloyd received education form Liddle High School in Fayette, Mississippi. Lloyd accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and united with Rose Hill Baptist Church. He was employed by Belle City, J.I. Case Corporation, Parma Cast, Personal Caregiver and in his spare time a part-time mechanic. In his leisure time he enjoyed barbecuing, listening to music and shooting pool. Throughout his life Lloyd loved spending time with his family the most.
Lloyd departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father James Herrington Sr.; mother Lizzie (nee: Jackson) Herrington; brother James Herrington Jr., brother in law Samuel Cozart and niece Lizzie D.H. Barry.
Lloyd leaves to cherish his memory daughters Renee Schoff and Shauna Goetz; sons Lloyd Herrington Jr. and Gerald Herrington, all of Racine, WI; daughter Krystle (Xavier) Herrington – Young of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Uniqua, Aaliyah, Kyle, Dhareal, Jaylyn, Nessiah, Jaydia, Kyla, Patience, Diamond, Kiara, Latrell, Janaise, Javeah, Emoni, Aniyah, Trey, Journie and Jeremiah; great-grandchildren, Alaya, Alani and Nina; sisters Evelyn Driver, Virginia Cozart and Delois (Craig) Bates all of Racine, WI; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention by name. Lloyd is also survived by two special nephews Michael Herrington and Kealon Cronin.
Lloyd Herrington Sr., age 67, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 11:00am at New Omega Baptist Church, 5731 Northwestern Ave, Racine, WI. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 until the time of service. Rev. Fred L. Richmond will be officiating. Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery.

To the Herrington families you have the Ticer’s Deepest sympathy!! Lloyd was a friend of our family for a long time . He was our Bother n love . Joe and I would look for him to stop by to get that moonshot every month or just to stop and talk and laugh . Lloyd always had a smile or made u smile . We will miss u Bro !!
