Viewing for Ms. Blackwell will be in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. There will not be any formal service.

Racine – Lonnie Mae Blackwell, age 80, passed away February 19, 2022 at her residence in the arms of her grandson, Lee (Willie Miller).
Lonnie was born in Coffeeville, Mississippi on July 7, 1941 to the late Lonnie Zinn and Clara Zinn (Campbell). Lonnie was a homemaker for over 40+ years. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching her tv shows, going to rummage sales and helping others. She also love to learn, she enjoyed being around her family and friends, love to take pictures, and loved to clean.
Lonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie & Clara; her son, Larry Wayne Blackwell; sisters & brothers, Earline Zinn, John Zinn, Irene Jackson, Clara Mae Zinn, Florida White, and Angeline Johnson.
Lonnie leaves behind 2 children, Shirley Blackwell of Racine & David Blackwell of Milwaukee; 4 grandchildren, Willie L. Miller, Shawnetta Thomas, Shawntal Cook, and Cashmire McDuffie; 11 great-grandkids; and sister, Alma Buggs.

MS. Blackwell! You were a joy to be around! I enjoyed talking & sitting with you on the porch! Every time I go on Howe Street, I think of the enjoyment we used to have! Thank You for being the beautiful woman & best role model you could be! Gonna miss you!

I remember Mae when she lived on Marquette st. Upstairs above Howard’s liquor store and I lived across the street she use to visit me a lot she was a very special lady. Rest on Mae. God bless 🙏🏾💋😇💘🌹
