Luis Alejandro Rivera Lopez passed away on October 20, 2022 in Milwaukee.
He was born on May 31, 1983 in Leon, Mexico. He grew up in Leon until the age of 17 when he moved to Racine, WI in the United States, which is where he spent the rest of his life. He was raised by Rosa Lopez and Carlos Rivera. Here are some things the family would like to say about Luis.
Our father, Luis Alejandro Rivera, was a kind and gentle soul. Our father was an incredible man with big ambitions. He not only provided for his family but made sure we were happy and healthy. He put everything aside for his wife and children. He would drop anything and everything and come to us in a heartbeat if he thought something was wrong. Our father was our biggest fan, He always made sure to cheer us on even when we were losing. He made sure to tell us to keep going and never give up. If we needed an answer to a problem, our father was there to give us the answer no matter how hard the question. He made sure to help everyone around him no matter what. Our dad always had a smile on his face and would light up every room he walked into. If you were to have a conversation with him you had to make sure you were standing in a comfortable position, because talking to him would take hours of laughter, jokes, smiles and lectures. Our dad was our superhero and our role model. He never gave up on any of his projects no matter how hard they got, and we will always remember him by that. He was a kind, loyal, respectful, joyful and strong-willed man. Our dad loved to sing and dance. If he wasn’t working, he was at home singing and dancing his butt off. Luis was a great father, husband, son, brother, son-in-law etc.…He’s leaving behind a family that loved and cared for him dearly – Judith, Ashley, Luis and Laura.
My son was a hard worker and a loving man. He was loved dearly by his family, especially his mother, brothers and sisters. He always had a positive attitude, he was energetic, and always had a smile on his handsome face. He loved his family so much, especially his deceased father, Carlos, who he missed so much. Luis cared and loved everyone in his family – Rosa, Carlos, Silvia, Mary, Mauricio, Cristian, Miguel, Karina.
He loved spending time with his family, especially with his mother, Rosa. He loved Maria (mother-in-law) and Artemio (father-in-law). We loved him dearly like he was our own son.
Alejandro was like a second dad to Artemio Jr. and Leonardo, He always made sure to include them no matter if it was a family trip, an errand to run or a job position. Artemio and Leonardo loved him and remember him as a jolly man. Alejandro was a great brother-in-law and friend to Karina, and he loved her girls very much. He loved spending time with each of their kids. He loved them so very much. Whenever he was around, he made the children smile and go to sleep peacefully. He was almost always there for any and every birthday party, so we would never doubt he would be there. Although he wasn’t blood, he was still our family. We will always love and miss him – Maria, Artemio, Karina, Leonardo and Artemio jr.
“Los Rivera nunca se Rajan” – Luis A. Rivera- Lopez
