Service Details
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 O’clock Noon at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 2223 51st. Street, Kenosha. The Rosary Society will pray the Rosary Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery. A visitation will take place on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home.

Margaret J. (nee: Kluka) Simmons, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
She was born in Kenosha on August 19, 1946, a daughter of the late Matthew and Justine (nee: Burger) Kluka.
Margie was a 1964 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Following High School, she attended Alverno College in Milwaukee, receiving her BA in Education in 1968. Margie continued her education later in her life, receiving her Certificate from the American Institute of Paralegal Studies in 1988.
She was employed with the Social Security Administration from 1984 until her retirement in 2011. Margie was proud to have achieved many commendations and advanced certificates while at Social Security.
Margie was a lifelong member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, where she served her church as a lector and member of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of The First Catholic Slovak Ladies and the Croation Fraternal Union of America Amity Lodge #692 where she served as President. She was a proud Associate of the School Sisters of St. Francis.
Survivors include her siblings, Barbara A. Kluka and Anthony P. Kluka; her aunt, Elizabeth Solum; and many loving cousins and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunts and uncles, Fredrick and Frank Burger, Joseph, Ann, and Gabriel Kluka, and Verna Bartel.
